An Emirati Women’s Day Reflection
“We Emerge Stronger and Better”
“Emerge.” What does it really mean?
Perhaps to emerge is not simply to be seen.
Perhaps it is what happens after the unseen moments.
After the doubt no one knew you carried.
After the doors you had to knock on more than once.
After the moments you questioned yourself, changed direction, started again, or quietly decided that you were capable of more.
We often celebrate women at the moment they arrive.
The achievement.
The title.
The business.
The degree.
The recognition.
But we rarely speak about everything that happened before that moment.
The becoming.
And maybe that is where the real meaning of “emerge” lives.
Because an Emirati woman does not simply appear at the finish line.
She emerges carrying everything that came before it.
She carries the women who raised her.
The values she grew up with.
The words of a mother that somehow stay with her years later.
The stories of grandmothers who lived lives very different from ours, yet passed down a kind of strength that cannot be taught in a classroom.
She carries a country that believed in her possibilities before she could fully understand how far those possibilities might take her.
And then she carries something of her own.
Her dreams.
Her choices.
Her mistakes.
Her courage to try again.
Her desire to become more, while never feeling that becoming more requires becoming someone else.
That, to me, is what makes the Emirati woman remarkable.
We are growing, but we remain rooted.
We are entering new spaces, but we carry our identity into them.
We are building businesses, leading teams, raising families, creating, researching, designing, teaching, serving our country and shaping industries that are still being written.
And through all of it, there is a quiet question many women know very well:
Am I doing enough?
Maybe we do not say it out loud.
But somewhere between ambition and responsibility, between what we have achieved and everything we still want to achieve, that question appears.
And perhaps Emirati Women’s Day is also a moment to answer it differently.
Not by listing everything we have done.
But by remembering how much we have already become.
Because strength is not always loud.
Sometimes strength is continuing when nobody applauds.
Sometimes it is admitting that you do not have all the answers.
Sometimes it is asking for help.
Sometimes it is walking away.
Sometimes it is beginning again.
And sometimes, strength is simply waking up the next morning with the courage to keep believing in the life you are building.
Maybe becoming “Stronger and Better” does not mean that we must constantly prove that we are stronger than someone else.
Maybe it means becoming stronger than the version of ourselves that once believed she could not.
Better not because we were not enough before, but because every experience taught us something.
Every disappointment refined us.
Every opportunity expanded us.
Every mistake humbled us.
Every person who believed in us gave us courage.
And every person who doubted us taught us to find that courage within ourselves.
That is what it means to emerge.
To come out of every chapter carrying something you did not have when you entered it.
More wisdom.
More clarity.
More courage.
More compassion.
And when I think of Emirati women today, I think of generations standing beside one another.
One generation that opened doors.
Another that walked through them.
And another that will one day wonder why those doors were ever closed at all.
That is progress.
It is to make space for others to emerge too.
To make sure that our achievements are not only evidence of how far we personally travelled, but part of a much bigger story of how far Emirati women continue to go.
This Emirati Women’s Day, I find myself thinking less about where we have arrived and more about what it took to arrive here.
The women before us.
The country behind us.
The lessons within us.
And the women who will come after us.
Proud of myself & all my sisters💫

Ever since I was a child, I carried a dream that felt very clear to me.
I wanted to become a doctor.
Not for the title, but for what it meant.
To stand in a university.
To teach.
To share.
I remember explaining things to my friends, to my siblings, to anyone who would listen. It didn’t matter what the topic was. What mattered was that moment when something clicked for someone else. That moment when knowledge moved from one mind to another .. and somehow grew in the process.
I’ve always believed that knowledge is not something we lose when we give away.
It’s something that expands.
And there is something incredibly beautiful about that.
As I grew older, that love never changed.
If anything, it became more intentional.
I started to understand that teaching is not about being the smartest person in the room. It’s about being someone who cares enough to help others grow. To simplify. To guide. To support.
And one of the most fulfilling feelings in the world is witnessing someone at the very beginning of their journey…
Then slowly seeing them evolve.
Not because of you.
But knowing you were part of that journey – even if it was just 1%.
That 1% matters.
So I pursued my dream.
I enrolled in a PhD program, with one clear vision in mind:
To become a doctor, and to teach at a university.
It felt like the “official” path. The expected path. The structured way to become who I wanted to be.
But life has its own way of unfolding things.
Somewhere along that journey, things started happening… differently.
I became a certified trainer.
I started conducting training sessions.
I began teaching real people, in real rooms, with real impact.
And then, unexpectedly, I found myself stepping into academic spaces… teaching at universities.
Not someday.
Not “after I graduate.”
But now.
And that’s when it hit me.
I was already living my dream.
I became the person I wanted to be…
Before reaching the milestone I thought I needed.
It made me question something deeper.
How many times do we attach our dreams to a specific title, a specific timeline, or a specific version of success…
Without realizing that we might already be living parts of it?
We wait for the moment.
The certificate.
The recognition.
The final step.
But sometimes, life gives us the experience before the label.
And if we’re not paying attention, we might miss it.
I still believe in my PhD.
I still want to complete it.
But now I see it differently.
It’s no longer the beginning of my dream.
It’s simply a continuation of something that has already started.
At my core, nothing has changed.
I still love teaching.
I still believe that growth is something to be shared.
I still choose to give, to guide, to contribute – regardless of how the world chooses to operate.
Because to me, there is no real competition in growth.
There is only expansion.
And maybe that’s the lesson.
Sometimes, we don’t have to wait to “become” who we want to be.
Sometimes, we already are.
We just need to recognize it.
March 27, 2026
There’s a quiet kind of confidence that comes from not rushing.
In a world that glorifies speed, scale, and “overnight success,” I chose something different.
I chose to build slowly.
At KAYWAY, I’ve been building at my own pace.. intentionally, patiently, almost as if I have all the time in the world. Not because I do… but because I decided to move as if I do.
Because the truth is, speed can be deceiving.
You can run fast in the wrong direction.
You can scale something that was never meant to last.
You can grow… without ever truly becoming.
And I never wanted that.
I didn’t want KAYWAY to be just another agency that “made it.” I wanted it to mean something. To be rooted. To be intentional. To carry a philosophy, not just a service.
So instead of running through the maze of building a business.. I walked.
Slow. Steady. Aware.
I paid attention to the details people often overlook.
The feeling behind the brand.
The psychology behind every message.
The alignment between what we say… and who we are.
I allowed myself to enjoy the process.. every meeting, every idea, every small win that didn’t make it to social media.
Because those are the moments that shape you.
Not the viral posts.
Not the big announcements.
But the quiet, unseen decisions that define your direction.
And that’s something I’ve come to deeply believe:
Direction matters more than speed.
Speed will get you somewhere.
But direction determines where.
And I’ve always been more interested in building something that lasts… than something that simply moves fast.
There were moments where I questioned this pace.
Moments where I looked around and saw others moving faster, louder, bigger.
But I reminded myself:
Not every journey is meant to be rushed.
Not every vision is meant to be built in noise.
Some things… need time to become what they’re meant to be. KAYWAY is one of them.
It’s not just a company to me. It’s a reflection of how I think, how I create, how I see the world.
And I refused to rush that.
On a journey of self exploration and growth, always 💫💜

Growing up, I always found myself drawn to quotes.
A sentence, a line, sometimes just a few words – yet they had the ability to stay with me for days, months, even years. I would read them, pause, and reflect on how they apply to life, decisions, dreams, and the path we choose.
Some quotes are simply beautiful.
Others are powerful reminders.
And some quietly shape the way we see the world.
I often revisit quotes not just to read them, but to think about how they translate into real life – how they challenge us, comfort us, or push us forward.
“A dream is lived twice, first in your mind, and second in reality.”
Growing up, I spent countless nights gazing at the stars.
The number of stars in space always reminded me of the endless possibilities we have here on earth.
Over time, I came to realize that every dream begins in the same place: the mind.
We visualize it.
We imagine it.
We feel it.
And then one day, if we stay committed to it long enough, we see it become reality.
“Although our feelings – such as fear, doubts, and hesitations – may be beyond our control, our thoughts are not. By shifting your mindset, you can alter your feelings.”
This quote reminds me that our mindset is more powerful than we sometimes realize.
Fear will exist. Doubt will exist.
But the way we frame our thoughts determines whether those emotions control us – or whether we move forward anyway. Sometimes the shift is not in our circumstances.
It’s simply in how we choose to think.
“There is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve: the fear of failure.” – Paulo Coelho
Fear has a way of convincing us not to start.
Not to try.
Not to take the first step.
But when you think about it, the real obstacle is rarely the dream itself. It’s the hesitation that stands between us and the beginning.
Most limitations exist only until we challenge them.
“When you want something, all the universe conspires to help you achieve it.” – Paulo Coelho
One of my favorite books is The Alchemist.
This quote stayed with me because it reminds us that when we pursue something with genuine intention, things often begin to align in unexpected ways.
People appear.
Opportunities appear.
Doors open.
But the journey requires persistence, faith, and patience.
“The secret of getting ahead is getting started.” – Mark Twain
Sometimes we wait too long for the perfect moment.
The perfect plan.
The perfect timing.
But progress rarely begins with perfection.
It begins with action.
Simply starting often solves more problems than endless planning ever will.
“If you stay ready, you don’t have to get ready.”
Preparation is one of the most underrated forms of confidence.
When you consistently learn, grow, and improve yourself, opportunities don’t feel intimidating – they feel natural.
Because you’ve already been preparing for them long before they arrived.
“Direction is more important than speed.”
In a world that constantly pushes us to move faster, it’s easy to forget that speed means nothing without clarity.
Moving quickly in the wrong direction only takes us further away from where we want to be.
Sometimes slowing down to think, reflect, and realign is the smartest move we can make.
“You can have it all. You just can’t have it all at once.” – Oprah Winfrey
Ambition often makes us want everything immediately.
But life unfolds step by step.
Growth takes time.
Dreams take patience.
And progress happens gradually, one step at a time.
“The bad news is time flies, the good news is you’re the pilot.”
Time will always move forward.
But the direction of our life is still in our hands.
We may not control every circumstance, but we always have the ability to steer – to decide where we go next.
“Nothing is impossible.”
This quote reminds me that the word impossible is often more psychological than real.
Many things only seem impossible until someone decides to try.
Sometimes the biggest barrier isn’t the challenge itself. It’s simply the belief that we cannot overcome it.
“Know all the theories, master all the techniques, but as you touch a human soul, just be another human.” – Carl Jung
In a world that celebrates expertise, titles, and achievements, this quote reminds me of something simple yet powerful:
Humanity matters more than anything.
Knowledge is important.
But empathy, kindness, and genuine connection are what truly leave an impact.
“What makes a diamond a diamond? It’s created under pressure.”
One day when I was feeling burnt out, my sister shared this quote with me.
Since then, it has stayed with me whenever life feels overwhelming.
Pressure can feel uncomfortable.
But often, it’s also the environment where growth happens.
Just like diamonds are formed under immense pressure, many of our strongest qualities are shaped during difficult moments.
“Success is liking yourself, liking what you do, and liking how you do it.” – Maya Angelou
Success is often measured through external achievements – titles, recognition, or milestones. But this quote reframes success in a much more meaningful way.
It’s about alignment.
Liking who you are.
Believing in what you do.
And feeling proud of how you do it.
When those three things exist together, success begins to feel less like a destination and more like a way of living.
“An entire sea cannot sink a ship unless it gets inside the ship. Similarly, the negativity of the world can’t put you down unless you allow it to get inside you.”
Life will always bring criticism, negativity, and challenges.
But this quote reminds me that the real danger isn’t the storm outside – it’s whether we allow it to enter our minds.
“The only place where success comes before work is in the dictionary.” – Vidal Sassoon
There is no shortcut to meaningful achievement.
Dreams, ideas, and ambitions all require effort.
Even when we are traveling, resting, or celebrating life, there is always a part of us that continues building, learning, and striving toward our goals. It is built through consistent work and dedication.
“Let your enemy know how you defend yourself, and let yourself know how your enemy attacks. Attack is the secret of defense, and defense is the planning of attack.” – Quotes from The Art of War
I came across this quote while reading The Art of War.
What fascinated me most is how applicable its lessons are beyond warfare. Strategy, awareness, and thoughtful decision-making play a huge role in everyday life – whether in leadership, business, or personal challenges.
Sometimes success is not about reacting quickly.
It’s about thinking clearly and planning wisely.
“We cannot control our feelings, but we can control our thoughts, which shape our feelings.”
Whenever I notice myself experiencing a negative emotion, I try to pause and trace it back to the thought behind it.
Often, our emotions are simply reflections of the narratives we tell ourselves.
By adjusting the way we think, we gradually influence the way we feel.
Mindset, in many ways, becomes the foundation of emotional resilience.
“Comparison kills creativity.”
It’s easy to be inspired by the beauty, talent, and achievements we see around us.
But inspiration can quickly turn into comparison.
And comparison has a quiet way of stealing confidence and creativity.
Every person has a different journey, a different path, and a different timing. Protecting your creativity means focusing on your own process rather than measuring it against someone else’s.
“Dream without action is hallucination.”
Dreams are powerful.
But without action, they remain ideas floating in our imagination. This quote reminds me that ambition must be paired with movement.
Dream.
Plan.
Act.
Because a dream only becomes real when we start working toward it.
“Romanticize your life.”
I’ve always loved this mindset.
Not because life is always perfect, but because perspective shapes experience.
Romanticizing your life doesn’t mean pretending everything is magical – it means learning to appreciate the small moments, the quiet progress, and the beauty hidden in everyday life.
Sometimes believing in the potential of your life before it fully unfolds is what keeps you moving forward.
It’s not about illusion.
It’s about choosing to see possibility.
“Until one has loved an animal, a part of one’s soul remains unawakened.” – Anatole France
There is something incredibly pure about the bond between humans and animals.
They teach us patience, loyalty, and unconditional love in ways words rarely can. And somehow, through that simple connection, they awaken a deeper sense of compassion within us.
“Don’t start what you can’t finish. Commit fully, or don’t start at all.”
One of my biggest pet peeves is seeing people talk endlessly about their dreams and ambitions but never take the steps to pursue them. Or worse, starting something only to stop halfway through at the first obstacle or challenge.
Growth is built on dedication. Without it, dreams remain just that – dreams.
Surround yourself with people who embrace challenges and are committed to fulfilling their goals, because the people you surround yourself with ultimately shape who you become.
Quote inspired by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. When I came across this reflection in قصائدي في حب الخيل, it stayed with me.
It speaks about persistence, passion, and giving your full effort to the things you truly care about.
When you love something deeply, you pursue it until the end.
Half effort rarely leads to meaningful results.
Great achievements are built through patience, consistency, and determination.
24. Growing Together
“What a beautiful thing it is to find somebody that demands you grow, and who also has the courage to grow with you.”
Growth becomes even more powerful when it is shared.
The people we surround ourselves with influence our mindset, our ambitions, and the direction we move toward.
Being around individuals who challenge you, inspire you, and grow alongside you creates an environment where progress becomes natural.
Those kinds of relationships are rare – but incredibly valuable.
“The people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do.” – Steve Jobs
The world often calls bold ideas unrealistic.
But progress has always depended on people who refused to accept limitations.
Sometimes what the world calls “crazy” is simply courage.
“The conversation between you and your brain – that’s the most important one.”
The quality of our lives is deeply connected to the quality of our thoughts. Our inner dialogue shapes how we see the world.
It influences our confidence, our emotions, and even the decisions we make.
When we become aware of the way we speak to ourselves, we begin to realize how powerful our thoughts truly are.
They can either limit us – or empower us.
“When you know your ‘why’, the ‘how’ unfolds effortlessly.”
When you truly understand the reason behind your goals, the path toward achieving them begins to make more sense.
A strong “why” often becomes the driving force that keeps us moving forward.
“The beauty of being a beginner again.”
There is something exciting about stepping into something new.
Learning, exploring, and discovering unfamiliar territory reminds us that growth never truly stops.
Being a beginner requires humility, curiosity, and courage.
But it also brings a sense of excitement that only new beginnings can offer.
Every master was once a beginner.
“Your story is your runway.”
No caption needed.
“Not every applause is rooted in joy. Some are just noise in disguise.”
On the road to success, not everyone will be genuinely happy for you.
Some will smile while secretly hoping you stumble.
Some will clap just loud enough to blend in.
And some will try to dim your light because it shines too brightly on their insecurities.
Protect your peace.
Stay focused.
Let your growth speak louder than their noise.
Success doesn’t need validation – it only needs vision.

Not in an anxious or dramatic way, but in that quiet feeling at the end of the day when I sit down and think, did I really make the most out of today?
There are moments when I catch myself feeling like my day gone wasted, and I wonder what I actually did with it. It’s not about productivity or achievements; it’s about presence. It’s that strange sensation of thinking, am I missing out on my own self?
I have always lived comfortably in my own little universe, my lala land, my bubble, my inner world that feels entirely mine. In that space, everything feels beautiful. I see beauty in the simplest things: the way the sun touches my skin, a random song that suddenly makes sense, a small moment that makes me laugh from deep inside my heart, an insect casually walking.
I am naturally expressive.. with my words, my emotions, my reactions, my creativity. I have no limits with myself in how I express joy, excitement, or even vulnerability. My inner world is colorful, emotional, playful, and deeply alive, and I genuinely love living inside it.
People don’t always realize how intimate our relationship with ourselves truly is. The person you spend the most time with in your life is you .. your thoughts, your emotions, your inner voice. You wake up with yourself, walk through your day with yourself, and lie awake at night with your own mind. So learning to understand yourself, to speak kindly to yourself, and to truly listen to yourself becomes one of the most important things you can ever do.
When I say “I compete with myself,” I don’t mean it in a harsh or pressuring way. I’m not trying to beat myself or push myself into exhaustion. I simply mean that my only real reference point is my previous version. I think about whether I grew, softened, learned, or became braver than yesterday.
Every single day, I have conversations with myself that no one else hears… because navigating life is one thing, but navigating me (my lala land) is a whole different challenge.
I literally fight with myself all the time.
One part of me says: “Get up and do this.”
And my brainy is like: “Nope.”
But my legs still walk.
My brainy argues with my legs to stop, but my toes want to fly.
Then .. suddenly ….. my stomach joins the argument with loud noises: “I need food!”
But my legs are like: “No, we need to move, we need to go.”
And then my fingers decide to comb my hair…
and just when brainy finally decides to get started with the work, my fingers are now too busy playing with my hair .. and my stomach is still crying!!
It’s chaotic in here.
A full internal meeting that I never scheduled.
Imagine that… this is what it sounds like inside me almost every day. I compete with my own self… and still, somehow, I show up and bring the best version of me forward.
Many people ask me how I stay positive, and by the end of the day they often wonder how I still have the energy to move, create, or give.
Just today, literally someone called me and said in, “كيف ملحقة تسوين ها كله؟ يعني كل يوم انتي في مكان.” What they don’t always see is the inner work that happens before I step into every space.. the self-talk, the moments where I gather myself and remind myself why I keep going.
And then today, someone said something that stayed with me long after our conversation ended. They told me that whenever they feel unmotivated, they think of me .. how I move through life, how I show up, how I keep going, and that thought pushes them forward.
In that moment, I realized that when you stay true to yourself and keep growing at your own pace, you end up inspiring others without even trying.
So yes, I compete with myself 🤪
Not out of pressure, but out of love for the woman I am becoming. Somewhere ahead of me, she is waiting: calmer, wiser, more grounded, still emotional, still expressive, still living beautifully inside her own bubbl, lala land.

The American University of Sharjah recently published my alumni interview, and seeing it live on the AUS website felt like coming full circle. AUS was never just a university to me; it has always been a living community – a place that shaped how I think, how I lead, and how I create.
I was never a “go to class and go home” student. I was deeply involved in everything AUS offered; student programs, initiatives, leadership platforms, and creative projects.. because for me, learning was never confined to lecture halls. It happened in conversations, in collaboration, in moments where ideas met people.
Below is my full interview as published by the American University of Sharjah Alumni Office. You can read it directly on the AUS website:

It sounds like a simple word.
A number on a page. A decision you make, a table you update, a proposal you send.
But if you are a service provider … you’re not pricing a product. You’re pricing your mind, your time, your ideas, your expertise, and your years of learning the hard way.
And that’s where everything becomes complicated.
There’s no manufacturing formula.
No fixed cost you can multiply by 2.4 and call it a day.
Pricing strategy is one of the most complex decisions a business makes. And effective pricing requires clarity around costs, expertise, market expectations, and the real resources involved in delivering a service.
It’s also about the infrastructure behind the work: the systems you built, the tools you invested in, and the growth you’re responsible for.
For me, as the founder of a marketing agency, pricing becomes even more challenging… because you’re pricing the ecosystem that allows the work to exist in the first place: the people, the space, the resources, the stability, and the standards you’ve committed to maintain.
And because of that, pricing feels like walking a tightrope between: charging too little and disrespecting your own journey, or charging too much and fearing you aren’t fair enough?
The client sees the final output, but what they don’t see:
How do you price that?
How do you calculate the value of becoming the person who can deliver what you deliver?
It took me years to be able to do an “easy task” today.
Something that once required three hours of overthinking, researching, doubting, and trying again… now takes me five minutes.
But here’s the dilemma:
How do you price your five minutes?
Because on paper, it looks unrealistic – even unreasonable – to say, “this will cost 1,000 AED” for something you completed in minutes.
But the truth is simple:
You’re not charging for the five minutes.
You’re charging for the five years it took to make those five minutes possible.
Pricing isn’t about time.
Pricing is about transformation and mastery.
And mastery is never born in minutes .. it is earned in years.
Not everyone will agree with your prices.
Not everyone is meant to actually.
But the ones who understand your value, who trust the depth behind your thinking, they don’t negotiate your price. They appreciate it.
And btw, I still struggle with pricing.
Even today, after years of experience, after building KAYWAY, after delivering hundreds of projects – every time I write a proposal, a small voice asks:
“Is this too much? Or is this too little?”
Some days I’m certain. Some days I’m not.
And I’ve learned that this is normal.
And maybe that’s the real secret:
Pricing isn’t something you have to figure out right away.. It’s something you grow into, proposal by proposal, decision by decision, year by year.
And it’s part of the beautiful entrepreneur love journey 💕

They had passion, purpose, and drive. But when it came to launching their brand they often felt stuck.
“What do I actually need?” they’d ask.
“A logo? A name? A strategy? A plan?”
And the truth is… it’s all of that – and so much more.
That’s why I created THE KAYWAY METHOD – a 4-week, hands-on training program built especially for those who dream of launching their brand but don’t have a big budget or a big team behind them.
I’ve seen too many startups with brilliant ideas struggle because they couldn’t afford agency fees.
And I thought – what if there was a way to learn and launch at the same time?
What if someone guided you – step by step – through the same process we use at KAYWAY for real clients?
That’s what The KAYWAY Method is.
👉🏻 It’s not just a course.
👉🏻 It’s empowerment – designed for those who are ready to build something that feels true to who they are.
It’s a journey – from concept to launch.
Every week, you’ll work on a real brand:
YOUR BRAND
You’ll walk away with:
And by the end, you’ll showcase your brand and One participant will even win a grand prize from KAYWAY!!
Because at KAYWAY, we don’t just want to teach you how to grow and we want to help you believe in it.
Launching October 18 at Mohammed Bin Rashid Library, and graduating at In5 Dubai Media City – among books, stories, and stars – where every participant will present their brand to the world.

Visualization isn’t only for the eyes .. it’s for the ears, the skin, the pulse that slows when the world stops demanding your attention.
So.. imagine silence.
No notifications.
No background music.
No hum of distraction trying to fill the air between you and your own thoughts.
Just you.
You and yourself.
Can you bear that?
Okay, maybe for an hour. You can light a candle, sip your coffee, scroll a little less.
But a full day?
What about a week .. only you, your voice, your mind echoing back?
That’s when it starts to get uncomfortable.
Because silence has this strange honesty.
It reflects you exactly as you are.
It brings forward every thought you’ve postponed, every emotion you’ve buried beneath routine, every truth you’ve been too busy to face.
But here’s the beauty of it:
If you stay long enough, silence starts to soften.
You begin to hear yourself, like really hear, not the noise of self-criticism, but the undercurrent of who you are before the world told you who to be.
It’s in that space that the rewiring begins.
Your brain stops reacting, and starts remembering.
You begin to choose what deserves your energy and what doesn’t.
That’s the real freedom.. not escaping people, not deleting apps, but reaching a point where your own presence doesn’t feel like a prison.
So… imagine silence again.
Only this time, don’t rush to fill it.
Stay.
Listen.

From the outside, everything seems aligned: polished brands, flawless events, smooth strategies. Like the solved Rubik’s Cube on the right – neat, perfect, balanced.
But nobody talks enough about the cube on the left.
Life without goals, direction, or clarity feels scattered. Pieces don’t match, colors clash, and no matter how you twist it, it doesn’t come together.
When you set goals and build discipline, life begins to align. Slowly, colors find their place. The cube transforms. From chaos into clarity. From scattered effort into meaningful progress.
And yet, here’s the truth we forget:
That “perfect cube” didn’t just appear.
It was trial and error. Wrong turns. Starting over. The frustration of almost finishing only to realize one square was out of place. The hours of persistence nobody posts about.
What You See
A balanced cube. A balanced life. Goals achieved.
What It Took
Patience. Frustration. Endless rewinding and redoing. Tiny victories that felt invisible at the time. The discipline to keep turning until it clicked.
The Invisible Process
Behind every aligned “cube” you admire; whether it’s a successful business, a leader on stage, or someone living with purpose, there are hidden layers of struggle, persistence, and messy drafts.
The final product is what we see.
The process is what we often ignore.
So next time you see someone’s “perfect cube,” remember: they carried the messy version first. They twisted, stumbled, tried again… until one day, it looked effortless.
The beauty isn’t just in the solved cube.
The beauty is in the hands that refused to give up.

This year’s Dubai Fashion Week reminded me of something I’ve always believed in as a marketer: people don’t fall in love with products, they fall in love with the stories behind them.
On the runway, it wasn’t only about the cuts, textures, and colors, it was about identity. Each collection whispered a bigger narrative, almost like a hidden message woven into every look.
Storytelling is the invisible thread that ties creativity to connection. When a designer sends a look down the runway, they’re not only showing fabric; they’re expressing culture, emotion, and imagination. And that’s exactly what makes fashion such a powerful marketing tool! It creates worlds that people want to belong to.
As someone who works with brands daily, I see how this principle travels beyond the runway. A beauty brand, a café, a wellness spa, even a tech startup, all succeed when they build a story people can see themselves in. Because when you tell a story, you’re not just selling a product. You’re inviting people into an experience.
Dubai, in particular, is a city that thrives on storytelling. We are a place where tradition meets innovation, where East meets West, where every skyscraper and souk carries its own narrative. Dubai Fashion Week reflects that spirit: diverse voices, bold visions, and a reminder that fashion is as much about meaning as it is about style.
So, whether you’re a brand, a business, or a creative, here’s the takeaway: your story is your runway.
And every time you share it with authenticity, you give people something far more lasting than a purchase. You give them a reason to remember you. 💫

Think about the first time you rode a bike, cooked a meal, or spoke a new language. The mix of excitement and clumsiness. The laughter at your own mistakes. The small victories that felt like giant leaps.
As we grow older, we often trade that magic for expertise. We build careers, gain experience, and pride ourselves on knowing. But somewhere along the way, we forget how freeing it feels not to know.
Recently, I gave myself permission to be a beginner again. To step into something new without the pressure of being “good” at it. At first, it felt awkward, almost uncomfortable. My inner critic whispered, “You should have this figured out by now.”
But then something shifted. I started noticing how being a beginner opened doors I didn’t expect.
* I became more curious.
* I laughed more at myself.
* I felt the joy of progress, not perfection.
It reminded me that growth lives in those messy, unpolished spaces. That curiosity keeps us alive. And that starting again isn’t about being behind, it’s about being open to evolve in new directions.
So here’s a gentle reminder: don’t hold back from trying something new. Whether it’s a skill, a hobby, or even a way of seeing the world, beginnings are little sparks of renewal.
Because the truth is, every master was once a beginner.

Nobody really prepares you for this part.
When I decided to start KAYWAY, it was for a million reasons – but at the core, it was passion. I loved marketing. I loved storytelling. I loved the way a message, crafted with heart and intention, could move people, build brands, and spark change.
That’s what I thought I’d be doing.
What I wanted to be doing.
But no one tells you that when you become a business owner… you stop doing what you love.
Suddenly, you’re not the creative anymore – you’re the decision-maker.
You become the one people turn to for answers, stability, structure.
The one who handles the papers, the contracts, the “Can I talk to you for a second?” moments.
It hits you slowly, then all at once:
I drifted.
Without even realizing it, I had shifted from the marketer I was… into a leader I hadn’t yet become.
And I’ll be honest – I wasn’t mentally prepared for that shift.
No one handed me a manual that said: “Welcome to entrepreneurship. You’ll now have to unlearn everything you know about comfort, certainty, and identity.”
I started KAYWAY to do what I love… and found myself doing everything else.
At some point, I looked around and saw that my team was doing the very thing that once lit up my soul.
And I wasn’t.
I told them – and I meant it from my heart – “You’re doing what I love. So love it deeply. Protect it. Own it.”
But I also knew… I missed it.
So I made myself a promise:
That no matter how big KAYWAY gets, no matter how many clients or campaigns or late-night deadlines – I will never just manage.
I will create.
I will sit with the team and sketch out that crazy idea.
I will write captions, brainstorm brand names, obsess over fonts and slogans.
I will take the photos.
I will edit the photos and videos.
Because leadership, to me, isn’t sitting above the work.
It’s sitting within it.
Leadership rewires you.
Not in a bad way. But in a deep, irreversible way.
It stretches your patience.
It humbles your ego.
I never thought leadership would become a part of my identity. But now, it’s the part that makes me proudest, because I chose to do it with heart.
Grateful for the journey of entrepreneurship 🫶🏻
The wins, the mistakes, the lessons. Every step is growth, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. 🥹✨

How do you run a business, manage creative projects, build strategies, and still show up with the same energy every day?
Honestly?
Some days I also want to know the answer.
Here’s the truth no one tells you:
if my vision changes, my entire day changes.
By vision, I mean the big picture — where I see myself going and WHY I’m doing it?
When my vision is crystal clear, I wake up like a superhero.
Everything feels connected. Every meeting has meaning. Even the boring excel sheet work feels like part of the mission.
But if my vision gets blurry?
Oh, it’s a completely different story.
I start my day staring at my emails like they’re in a foreign language.
Tasks feel heavier, energy dips, and suddenly I’m spending way too long debating whether my desk plant needs more sunlight.
That’s when I remind myself:
Passion is what got me started, but vision is what keeps me moving.
Passion is fun. Passion is exciting. Passion is the “let’s do this!” moment.
But passion can also burn out if it’s not pointed somewhere.
Vision is the compass. It tells you where to go and why it’s worth getting there, even when the road is bumpy and your coffee is cold.
So, if you’re feeling stuck, unmotivated, or like your to-do list is plotting against you… ask yourself:
Is my vision still clear?
Because once you fix your vision, your energy, focus, and even your sense of humor come back to life.
And if not, well… at least water the plant.
What’s the vision that’s driving you right now?
Share it, you might inspire someone else to clear theirs.

Grateful, and always on a learning journey.
Nobody really prepares you for leadership.
You read the books, you watch the talks, you take the courses… and then one day you wake up, and suddenly you’re juggling ten different personalities, all before your first coffee.
It’s not just about leading projects. It’s about leading people. And let me tell you.. People don’t come with instruction manuals. 🫣
Some thrive on constant feedback.
Others prefer to be left alone.
One person sends you three‑paragraph emails. Another replies with just “ok.”
And somehow, you have to make all of them feel understood, valued, and motivated, without losing your mind (or your patience).
That’s when I realized:
leadership isn’t about managing something, its not “business”. It’s about adaptability.
Here’s what I’ve learned along the way:
At the end of the day, leadership is not something you “learn.” It’s something you practice, every single day. And if you’re lucky, your team teaches you just as much as you teach them.
So yes, I woke up one day with a calendar full of tasks… and ended up with a front‑row seat to the incredible complexity (and occasional chaos) of human personalities.
And honestly? I wouldn’t have it any other way. 🫰🏻✨

When I started KAYWAY, I didn’t have a grand plan.
I just had a feeling — that there had to be room in this industry for a different kind of agency. One that led with heart, not just hype.
The name came naturally:
Kay is me. Way is my way.
And slowly, that became the foundation of everything I built.
From day one, I knew KAYWAY wouldn’t look like a traditional agency.
Our brand was pink. There was glitter in the welcome kits. The fonts were soft, expressive , and feminine.
And with that came the comments:
“It’s too girly.”
“Men won’t sign anything pink.”
“It doesn’t look professional.”
I listened. But I didn’t change it.
Because I didn’t build KAYWAY to impress everyone.
I built it to be true.
True to who I am — and to what I believed brands needed: honesty, clarity, and the courage to sound like themselves.
A few months later, one of those “this-won’t-work” moments came full circle.
The CEO of a leading hospital in the UAE signed our terms and conditions — in pink, with a soft script font, without hesitation.
That day wasn’t a victory for glitter or branding.
It was a reminder that when something is done with intention — it resonates.
Even when it’s unexpected.
Over time, KAYWAY became more than a name.
It became a way of thinking. A space where clients could unlearn the pressure to sound like everyone else — and finally start sounding like themselves.
I don’t have all the answers.
But I do know this:
When something feels right … when it’s rooted in your values … that’s reason enough to start.
And more often than not, that’s where real connection begins.
So if you’ve ever been told to make your brand more neutral, less emotional, more “market-friendly”…
This is just a quiet reminder that your way is always valid.
Even if it’s pink.
Especially if it’s pink.
